Ensuring your sarong stays beautiful is simpler than you think.
Although our sarongs have silk in them, they are simple and easy to care for. There is no need to dry clean (especially as dry cleaners use really harsh chemicals on the fabrics, which deteriorate their life), just a cold hand wash and hang out to dry in the summer shade.
They are fine to wrap around your body after a salt water swim. Just a little cold rinse afterwards is all your sarong needs!
Our hot tips for giving your sarong the most love, no matter where you are:
- A steam / back side iron goes a long way...It will make your sarong look brand new!
- Leaving your sarong with salt on it out in the sun, will make the colour fade (like any fabric). Make sure you rinse with cold water and hang to dry in the shade after salt water exposure.
- If you need to give your sarong a little wash, cold hand wash with mild detergent, and hang out to dry in the shade.
